I have had a shop for over 10 years - and I run it alone, with no other shop members.
A few days ago I noticed that I am listed twice - with different photos - as a shop member / owner.
I know how to delete a member - -but I am hesitant because I fear I might screw up my shop by deleting the "wrong" me!
This is a very odd issue, and I am not sure how this could have happened, but I must have done something - maybe when I changed my photo? It does not make sense, I have changed my photo several times over the years.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Never have but I think I have only changed mine once or twice.
I would just go in and delete the one you don't want. If it deletes both you can just put one back.
Maybe one of them is your "evil twin" {{kidding!}}}
The problem is, when you go to delete, Etsy warns " THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE" (so something similar). I am worried that I might delete the profile that has my banking info, etc on it. I should probably contact Etsy support. This is so odd.
That's interesting! I don't think you could delete the wrong one - you could always delete both and start over with a new one!
@PillowDetailsThat is what I was thinking also. As for that "This cannot be undone"--I have only seen that when deleting a listing--not when I changed my photo.
@decotini you want to do this in your About section -story. Not your profile.
Let me check in computer - brb
Yes, THIS^^^^^
Settings - About Your Shop - right there is Members, with the icon pics - click to edit and delete the pic, verbiage, and "role".
