Hallo,
If you did give these scammers your email address and they send you another message there, do NOT open any link in the message. Put those emails in your spam folder or, better yet, delete them completely.

Oh nein, danke.
It is a scam. Don't respond, but put the message into spam. There are many posts about it.
Oh nein, zu spät. Jetzt habe ich darauf schon geantwortet. Was kann denn jetzt da passieren?

Jetzt habe ich leider schon darauf geantwortet. Was kann den jetzt passieren?
@MahrjaHedette What information did you give them when you answered the email?
Do you mean you replied to the Etsy message and you gave them your email address?
If they sent a message to your email, did you read it and then clicked on a link that was in that message? It's that link that starts the real part of the scam.
I read through the thread this morning and noticed it was first started 2 years ago. I can’t believe that Etsy is still staying silent on this subjectHow hard is is to put out a warning on our dashboards? They put out useless information on all kinds of things on there all the time. Why not this? They need to step up and protect their sellers. How would a new seller even know what the procedure is? Come on Etsy do something. Keeping silent is hurting us all.
