Verkäufer Star

Hallo,

ich habe diesen Monat den Verkäufer Star Button nicht erhalten, da ich auf eine Nachricht nicht innerhalb von 24 Stunden reagiert habe.

Es wurde eine Bestellung aufgegeben und anschließend eine Nachricht mit "Vielen Dank. Ich freue mich schon" an mich gesendet.

Am nächsten Tag habe ich das Produkt versendet und mich über die Versandmitteilung bedankt und ihr die Trackingnummer mitgeteilt.

Kundin ist auch laut Bewertung super happy.

Nachdem es keine Frage der Kundin war und sie auch keine Antwort auf diese Nachricht erwartet hat, möchte ich bitten, diesen Fall zu prüfen.

As it says right on your Star Seller page and elsewhere, you need to reply to the FIRST message of EVERY NEW INCOMING THREAD within 24 hours. It does not matter who sent it, the subject matter, if it is a duplicate or blank or anything else. If it is SPAM then it should be marked as such. The Star Seller metric for messages is very simplistic and binary - either you replied to (or marked as SPAM) that first message of a new incoming thread within 24 hours or you did not.

 

If the unanswered new thread is not a Help Request, at least for the time being, it appears that marking an unanswered new thread as SPAM (even after the 24 hour deadline has passed) will cause your reply percentage to change in a day or two if the original message was within the current star seller period (but not retroactively). Note that subsequent messages from that account may go directly to the SPAM folder.

 

"... I would like to ask that this case be examined." Even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

Etsy will not do anything about this, all new initial messages (even if no answer is required) have to be replied to for the star seller stats.

Etsy won't change it, you have to reply to each new message thread, or mark it as spam.

That's it.

You can try to log a call, but they will probably tell you to post here, in the seller forum, and we can only tell you, that you have to follow the rules, which are very clearly stated.
