Received a message on my dashboard that I needed to verify my identity due to a name change ( Never requested a name change). Never received any emails or anything but followed the link and instructions and sent in a copy of my photo ID. Have been selling on ETSY since Jan of 23 and am a STAR Seller. This makes no sense. Never heard anything from ETSY, but the days on the message kept counting down, so I contacted ETSY support. I have now contacted them on the chat 4 times and 6 on the phone. Each time they tell me, they have received the document and if any further information is needed they would send me an email. They even had me search for the email address they said would be sending from. I have never received any emails from this email even though I continue to get all the emails from them for marketing and my statements. I have asked for any other contact information to contact supervisors from the reps and am always told this is handled from the IT department and there is nobody else they can have me talk to. When I get rather forceful, they hang up on me. I am so frustrated. Has anyone else had this issue. I have just sent my ID again and only have 2 days till they put my account on Vacation Mode and they have been withholding my funds since December. Any advise would certainly be appreciated.
