Re: Verification
Real Etsy messages arrive in the "From Etsy" folder.
Everything else claiming to be Etsy is a scammer.

Re: Verification
If it's not in the From Etsy->Messages folder it is a scammer. Mark it as spam and do not reply to it.

Re: Verification
No it's not normal.
Why would Etsy need your email? They wouldn't. They already have it.
Why would Etsy need YOU to have $100 in your account to be verified?
That makes NO sense at all.
When you sign up for Etsy payments, you have to enter on your finance page, the small deposit that etsy made INTO YOUR bank account, then Etsy takes that small deposit back (usually less than $1).
You don't need money in a bank account to be verified.
Those crooks will send you to a FAKE esty site to login and enter in your account/card #'s then they'll take your money with a promise you'll get it back within a few mins. YOU won't get it back.
And more than likely the bank won't give you the money back either because you willingly gave those crooks access to your account.
