I'm hoping someone can help me. I've tried using the ETSY Chat in the past and they told me they were attempting to fix it, but nothing has changed. I have tried again over the past couple of days but I seem to wait for half an hour and then as soon as I log off, they reply, so I reply later on, then they reply with the same message of getting back in touch and on and on etc.
Anyway, I've had this issue for a while. When I use the bulk update (listings page, edit > select various listings > 'editing options' > edit prices) and make an edit, the listings affected automatically unlink the variations and images. This only happens when bulk editing, however, with over 1000 listings I can't possibly sit and go through each listing to lower the prices of each item (as to why the bulk editor works well in just lowering/increasing prices by £1/£2 etc). I've not changed my prices for a while and with the holiday season upon us, I wanted to lower the cost of a lot of the existing items in my shop. Does anyone else have the same issue?
Important: Since a few months after opening, I've always matched my variations to images as I've had repeated errors of customers buying the wrong item. Eg They chose a product from the dropdown, but it showed differently for them on the photo section and they were unhappy to receive the wrong shade etc - so I need to make sure they match.

Off-topic, but important: Smiley Face, Excel, Crocs are trademarked. You need a license to sell these items. And as a UK shop, you have to accept returns.
