Variation problem at check out

Customers are complaining to me that Etsy is forcing them to select a particular variation that they don't want, i.e., they can select "yes extra grips" (for a glasses chain) with an extra cost or "no extra grips".  They are being forced to select yes.

I tried it and I can select the size of the grips and no extra grips with no problems.

I could add to cart with variations with no problem.

It might be the buyers device.

We ended up doing a work around.  She purchased with extra grips and I refunded her the cost of them. I think her issue was at the purchase stage..... she could select the no variation but she was not able to complete the sale.
