Variation in Design

I am using Printful as a Production Partner. I would like to make 2 different listings (designs) in Printful into 1 listing on Etsy. The 2 different designs go together so I want to sell them together as a bundle. How do I set this up?

Re: Variation in Design

Make one listing and create a title, description, tags and photos for both.

Re: Variation in Design

I don't see an option on etsy to add an additional product from Printful to the same listing. Am I missing it?

Re: Variation in Design

Can you do it as a variation? Not sure that works with POD or not. How are others handling say a hat and shirt set? Do you have to list each as a single variation for POD?

I don't know how to add the other item as another variation.

@hopeandjoystudios   No, we can't do our own variations, it has to be done on the POD because they put in SKUs to tell them what to print. We can only adjust the item type (like tshirt, sweatshirt etc) using the POD's SKUs . That method is a pain in the butt, lol.

Re: Variation in Design

I do it in Printify, but I imagine it will be the same -

If both designs are available in all colors, I have to have my settings at manual, and manually upload the design the customer buys, each time. There's no way to have it automated. (see this listing, it is manual: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1234406627/all-american-family-matching-t-shirts)

I create my listing in printify, upload one of the designs, this gets you the Etsy listing. Then when they order, go back into printful, COPY your listing, and change the design to the one they ordered. You need to copy the listing because sometimes the print company will keep your design on file and will print out what was initially uploaded to them (they do this on printify, not sure about printful). It's really not that difficult if you aren't an uber busy shop. You can of course change the pictures in Etsy to reflect what you are selling.

If this doesn't help you, make a new post (or change your title if you still can) saying something like "Need Printful help" and someone from printful will hopefully see it. I have heard printful has a special customization feature, so it may be simpler then I describe for printify. Hope this helps a little.

Re: Variation in Design

Are you saying that you manually choose the product they want and manually enter their shipping credentials?

I'm not following "COPY your listing" "You need to copy this listing because sometimes the print company will keep your design on file and will print out what was initially uploaded to them."

Does the customer's order show up in printify? and you just edit the design they want or do you start the order from scratch?
