I have discovered an interesting bug.
I have a set of complex shipping profiles which consists of Ground Advantage + Priority + Priority Express for domestic orders, and I was using "Other" for about 50 countries which support end to end tracking through Asendia. I saw this post recently:
https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/ANNOUNCEMENT-Update-Required-showing-on-Listings/m-p/...
Where US sellers should not use this "Other" carrier. However, nothing prevented me from continuing to use it, I only received a note "Update missing info" (with no fields highlighted) when viewing the list of shipping profiles.
I recently updated the processing times on orders to reflect a short vacation period. When I received a new domestic order, I saw the new processing time was not observed on two new orders. I could verify this by going to the listing page and seeing the expected delivery time was too short based on estimated processing time.
Therefore - what I had to do was go into every shipping profile that used an *international* "Other" carrier and update it to use USPS First Class International (which isn't exactly correct based on how Asendia works, but I digress). Only *after* I changed this did the processing time actually take effect for domestic orders, as I confirmed this by looking at the new expected delivery time.
I'm certain this is a bug, and have not found any similar reference.
