Dear Etsy Support Team,
I’m reaching out regarding the temporary hold on my funds due to seller info verification. The yellow notification bar in my payment account displays the following message:
"Your funds are in a temporary hold until we verify your seller info (this usually takes up to 48 hours)."
It has now been over four days, far exceeding the stated 48-hour time frame, and the hold has still not been lifted. I previously contacted customer support regarding this issue and was assured that it would be resolved. Unfortunately, I have not received any follow-up, and the problem persists.
I currently have an ongoing order, and this delay is causing me significant stress as it directly affects my ability to manage my shop and fulfill the order. I kindly ask that you address this matter immediately and provide an update on the status of my account.
Your prompt resolution of this issue would mean a lot, as I’m very concerned about its impact on my business.
Thank you for your immediate attention.
Best regards,
Etienne

Seller verification can take much longer than 48 hours, this is a standard reply but does not fit all.
Make sure that all your details are matching, from ID to bank account and tax details, everything has to match exactly.
You are based in the Netherlands, you have your items as "made by" but they are dispatched from the United Arab Emirates, this could also set of flags. These should be at the very least be listed as "Designed by" unless you make every single item with your own hands.
As you are based in the EU, you are legally required to accept returns, if your policies are not legal, this again could affect your shop's standing
You are not the only one having problems, they tried making me open another bank account or pay £300 despite having charged my card a few hours earlier
It is not the same @Oakhamwoodcrafts
It sounds like you may have been contacted by a scammer.
You need to contact your bank and cancel your card, Any UK bank should have scam protection to recuperate your funds.
If you opened a revolut account to pay the scammer, then open your revolut app and contact them asap via the live chat within the app. They also have scam protection but you need to contact them quickly.
@MillmontLTD: While Etsy could and should be better at communicating when something says "... usually takes up to 48 hours ..." that implies that sometimes it takes longer.
"Your prompt resolution of this issue ..." Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy moderators do sometimes read and reply to posts).
