Urgent: Unresolved Verification Issues and Funds Withholding

Dear Etsy Customer Support,
 
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my serious concern regarding an ongoing issue with our account verification process, which has been unresolved for over three weeks now. 
 
Over three weeks ago, Etsy requested our government-issued ID for verification, which we promptly provided. Since then, however, our verification has not been processed, and our funds have been held without any clear resolution. This situation has caused significant cash flow issues for our business, and we are unable to access the funds we’ve earned from sales. 
 
We have been loyal sellers on Etsy for several years, and this experience has been extremely frustrating. We have reached out to Etsy’s customer service team more than 10 times via email, but unfortunately, we have yet to receive a response or any meaningful updates. The lack of communication and the prolonged delay in resolving the verification issue have severely impacted our trust in Etsy's ability to support its sellers.
 
We kindly request immediate action to resolve this matter. We would appreciate it if you could:
1. Provide an update on the status of our verification process.
2. Release the held funds without further delay.
3. Ensure that this issue is handled with the urgency and attention it deserves.
 
We value our relationship with Etsy and hope that this issue can be resolved promptly. However, if we do not receive a timely resolution, we will have to consider alternative platforms to support our business. 
 
Please respond as soon as possible to confirm the next steps.

@MoroccanWhite: "Dear Etsy Customer Support" Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

You have written "we" everywhere

On etsy, there is only 1 shop owner, you only provide documents for the one  shop owner - only 1 person, do not send more than 1 persons ID, the bots have no idea when you are sending more than 1, as they won't all match up.

Make sure that ID is for the 1 shop owner, and you never change shop owner, you can't do it, and if you try, then it's a giant mess to unravel.

If you are a business, then you make sure all the separate  business info is also set up properly, with the business documentation.

if you are a business, put the business utr in the additional taxpayer ID field

If you are a sole proprieter, put your (1 shop owner) UTR in the additional taxpayer ID field
