Has someone faced an issue when the account was hit with literally 100s of messages from Germany and England, which the Etsy customer service said was a phishing attack through the Etsy platform? And now they have muted the account so I cant send messages to any customer. My store sells only in the US so there is no reason for buyers from England or Germany to contact my store. Still awaiting resolution from Etsy. I dont understand why we need to wait for so long when we are the victims of the the SPAM attack.
You can always use email to contact buyers who have already placed orders. Their email addresses are on the order.

Thank you for your reply. I am using the email address as of now but sometimes the customer doesnt even open an email from an unfamiliar address. I have been waiting for days for some customers to send me their contact number for a LTL shipment with no response.

I wonder if you could "at" Admin HerrMoostache in this Thread. You can be phished in seconds, but it should not take a lengthy time to receive help.
