Uploading Photos on new app

Since we're being forced to use the new app soon, I'm trying to get used to uploading on it. But it won't upload photos from my phone. It'll only accept a photo if I take it with the camera at the time of listing. This isn't going to work for me. I don't take my photos at the time of listing, I take them ahead of time. 

Is anyone else having this issue or knows of a way to fix it?

Dear Etsy, while you are trying to figure out why the NEW APP ISN'T WORKING AT ALL, please activate your old app, which worked great for photos and everything else.  You're losing a ton of sales.. is anybody listening who can effect this change??

I used to be able to do pretty much everything on the old app. I had two shops, too. Now I’m reaching for my laptop for the simplest things. It’s rare to see an improvement on here, that’s the story.

@HealingSeaNecklaces: Are you experiencing this using an Etsy app (on which operating system) or via mobile browser or desktop browser (which browser and operating system)? If via a browser, are you using the "old" or "new" listing form?

having same issue today, Sunday...tried to upload photos for my listing.  Not using new listing layout as i hate it...can't upload pics but have been able prior to now...on android.  Wonder what's going on

Cant upload photos on Etsy seller app with Android phone.

Video will upload but nothing happens when you press + to add photos.

Delete and reinstalled app.

Rebooted phone. 

neither helped.

Can upload on the PC OK but not on the android phone. 

Was working yesterday fine...

Anyone know anything on if this is a current tech issue?

I tried creating a new listing (new form) on PC and it doesnt work on Android.

Same for the old form not getting it to work although on the app the new and old forms seem the same?

I'm having this issue too, and it also started today. I went to add some photos to a listing and suddenly the buttons do nothing. I can upload a video or delete photos, but can't add a photos at all.

This is happening to me too. First time and I'm using an android. I hate the extra time needed to use the laptop.

Yes same issue for me too. Cannot add any photos to listings with phone or PC.

I have had this problem for about 5 days. Android phone. Android tablet. I did all the steps, yada yada. Just waiting and posting on Ebay in the meantime.
