Halo
I've been having problems since last month I got a firsts sale and it arrived "my account is in automatic vacation mode, I was asked to re-upload my Document ID. I did it a week ago but it still says pending verification (even though it says verification 2 -5 days, more than a week, I have not received a response, and here I am also asked to verify my bank account. If I want to verify my bank account, I find a gray button that cannot be clicked. Is there a solution or have you experienced how to solve it? If I don't get 6 hearts my account will be suspended
Hi!
Were you able to sort the situation out.
I have also been selling here on Etsy for several years and now being asked to upload a government ID. With all the data breaches that happen so frequently am I the only one that feels that this is just too much information to put online? Yes, Etsy already have a lot of personal information that could be breached, but I've never had to upload my government issued ID anywhere on the internet. There should be a better way to do this. I have not yet decided if I will upload my ID.
@cottonweavers I was able to get all of the steps completed. It was a little confusing. My account page had my drivers license box checked which I thought meant it was already on file. I uploaded it and instantly got the message that all the steps were completed and I was good to go. Chat said there would be an email confirmation, which there was, and the notice cleared off my dashboard right away.
I’m having the similar issue, I opened my shop 4 years ago and had almost 20k sales, however, I made a mistake by trying to change the owner. When I found out that the owner can’t be changed, I uploaded the original owner documents, but it shows pending verification for half year and I’m not able to reload. Now, Etsy suspended my account. I’m keep contacting Etsy through emails, no luck yet.
