I shipped out the items on Friday, February 3, but didn't update the tracking information in Etsy until Sunday, February 6. It's showing that I shipped the item three days late. How can I make sure this doesn't affect my Star Seller status?

The only way is to make sure you put in the tracking number right away, what I do is put it in as soon as I get it. I’ve just made that a habit. If it’s the only time it’s happened it may affect your star seller rating, if it does than you can always get it back the following month as long as you ship on time. You shouldn’t lose all your badges though worst case scenario…
@YouRockBuddies: Unfortunately as far as the automated system is concerned, if you marked the order as complete after the scheduled ship by date it will be considered as shipped late, and is not "fixable".
Unfortunately, you can't change this. In order for it not to happen again, use Etsy labels or another automatic service like Pirateship or when you arrive home from dropping off the packages, immediately sit down and enter the tracking numbers.
Etsy tells us to do this when not using any automatic label. The tracking has to be entered on the day of shipping.
