I have an order that is for overseas (I am in the UK) and due to the current issues with Royal Mail I communicated with the buyer that I could not dispatch the order at the moment and updated the ship by date for as far in advance as possible. About 24 hours later it reverted to the original ship by date and is now showing as overdue. I've checked it in the app, different browsers etc. The order number is 2759254497. Thankyou.

I would cancel the order and refund, or send with a different courier,
When Royal mail eventually opens up, it will be swamped anyway, and unless you already put your delivery dates a long way out, you will miss that too
Ah, I thought that Etsy still replied to messages on the Technical Issues section of the forum, I will message them directly instead.
Thankyou - I am aware of the options of cancelling or using different couriers etc during this period with Royal Mail and am confident that I am handling that appropriately for my shop and customers. I am concerned about the ship by date reverting to it's original date.
sometimes they do, mostly they don't, but even if they do, it's normally only cut and paste from the handbook.
