Update Tax Information

Please help I am at a loss of what to do to get this issue resolved I got message in dashboard to update tax information.  Tried mutliple times to enter my social will not accept.   I have not had any name changes / address changes absolutely no changes but it keeps giving me error.  I tried to even enter it under miss spelling/fix section with the same result.   I have done all the trouble shooting tricks, multiple devices/browsers etc   reached out on chat last night told it was being escalated to specialist 24 hours later no communication via email/chat etc still not working I am at a complete loss and know that this will be a rinse and repeat enter 5 time get locked for 24 hours all while my shop is in suspension and have request for custom listing to enter.    PLEASE PLEASE HELP WHAT CAN I DO

If your SSN is already correct then Etsy is just asking you to double check it.

It appears it wants me to enter the information.   I thought that this was already done when opening but that is the information they want me to enter is SSN or EIN which I don't have a EIN.    The error states  : There was an error saving your taxpayer information. Please try again.

Is your SSN already there?

No that section is blank.   When I enter my social it gives me the error everytime I have been locked out for several days after too many attempts.

it looks like you re-opened, after a long break

make sure everything is up-to-date, and matches exactly

e-mail is up to date
card and expiry date

name exactly the same everywhere, no initials one place, but not another

etc etc

THANK YOU.  Yes I did have a break in there.  I have not double checked all of this will go and do that right now

NO LUCK  still states that there is an error everything look to read the same and is up to date.   Chat last night seemed to think there was an issue that ETSY would have to fix and said she was escalating to a specialist but the chat never connected and no response or email.   And now it locks the account for attempts for an additional 24 hours.  

I almost wish they would just reset the whole area and I would submit all the picture/documents again at least I would be caught in the horrible cycle with no way out.
