We woke up this morning to our 5 star seller shop being put in Vacation Mode without any notice. No email and I checked my SPAM box with no email there either. Only issue it said while digging around for an answer was to update my phone number, which is odd since it was always there from the beginning.
This is a main source of our income, please advise.
Whatever it was is gone now. Your shop is now visible. I would be more worried about Etsy eventually closing your entire shop for IP infringement rather than a temporary vacation mode.
Could it be due to what you were selling ... IP infirnging items?
where does it say you need to update your phone number?
I was digging around trying to find anything as to why it was set to vacation mode, and the only thing I found was update my phone number. We have received no email as to why at all.
Etsy is required by law to get information about sellers at a certain level of selling such as address and phone number. I believe that is the Inform Act.

Perhaps it was because of the items you were selling, which would make it warranted. Because it is stealing.
There was no email regarding any reason whatsoever.

I have to wonder how much these insane shenanigans are costing Etsy in sales?
All these shops being shut down seem to be active shops with lots of sales.
a small fortune no doubt

WOW, what a fun time that must have been, and such a great opportunity to further your career! But even if you once worked for the head MOUSE before, do you have the proper licensing now to sell the listed items in your shop? If not, that is considered IP infringement and your items would be considered counterfeits ... a federal offense to sell & ship those items! While you are free to make cosplay & fandom items for personal use, you cannot legally sell them (without proper licensing). Your shop is now reopen, but it makes me wonder ... for how long? Wishing you the best of luck!
