Unwanted annoying notifications from Etsy Seller App

Getting irritating notifications from the etsy seller app that can't be disabled,  only notifications turned on are for shop related orders, messages etc, the bottom 2 options for news about etsy etc are off. See screenshots.... Oh, there's no way to upload an image. 

How can we disable the silly notifications to join the etsy cybersale and other rubbish?

Now getting spammed with notifications to remember to post my Christmas orders! I don't have any etsy notifications turned on, only orders, favourites and messages! No response from Etsy so will just uninstall the app.

@TrinketDrawersUK @I got the same notice today…only I don’t HAVE any Christmas orders…lol. But not to worry, Etsy. I’ll be sure to promptly ship a Christmas order on the off chance someone actually stumbles into my shop and lands face first on the buy button…cause, given my god-awful traffic numbers, that’s the only way I’ll get a Christmas sale.

I keep getting Selling on Etsy has stopped working pop up all day long and it is even when I am not on Etsy. I could watching something on youtube and boop there it is. So annoying.

I wish I knew the answer as these messages are really annoying me too.  I only have notifications for sales, messages and favorites turned on, so how are these spam from Etsy messages creeping in?!

Hear ya on this one they even text my phone now. They hide like cowards why they know everything they're doing is more than likely illegal in some way.

My app is doing this, too! I checked and double-checked my settings, and I also have the most recent version of the app as well as the most recent update on my ios. I can't figure out what's wrong. 

That split second after seeing the notification and realizing that it's only generic Etsy messaging, not a sale or a buyer message, is so disappointing!

Yep, I downloaded the seller app so I can get notifications when I make a sale, but all they do is send me obnoxious notifications advertising Quickbooks. No, I do not want my day constantly interrupted with advertisements thank you.

I am getting this too - ads for quickbooks from the seller app.  I have notifications turned on for sales and nothing else, and those are useful to me.  I'd like to keep them, but if I keep getting ads, I need to turn them off. 

This hurts my buyers. It's not okay.

The quickbooks one seems to have come from the regular etsy app, not the Seller's app.

Does anyone from etsy read this?

@muckfusk @RedPenPrintables   go into your shop account and remove for getting emails.

The only emails that you will get is anything to do with sales and shipping as well as any update/legal information that Etsy wants sellers to be aware of.

Also many sellers like getting the messages.  It's a help to them so some things we just need to put up with because it is a help to others.

I wouldn't touch that app with a ten foot pole. It has never worked right and I don't anticipate that changing ever. It was one of the biggest disappointments they ever came up with. I don't know why Etsy doesn't hire decent programmers. They all seem to be 5th graders. (eyeroll)

My "favorite" ridiculous message is the one I get when I am on the app occasionally, and it asks me if I want to download the wonderful app! 

I am already on it, you dummies!
