I have messaged Etsy directly a few times and the only thing I get is the same automated response saying to upload my ID for payment issues. I did this when I signed up to sell back in 2019 and haven’t had any issues until my last two orders. I finally re-uploaded my ID again earlier this week but still can’t get any other response but the same automated message. I’m getting beyond frustrated with this issue because it takes my stuff down for at least a week after each order until after the funds hit my bank account, which won’t happen with this last order since it was less then what I haven’t been charged for Etsy Plus yet, which I just upgraded to. I need help please anyone.
I don't understand why Etsy does not have , even an automatic bot notice to tell people why their shops are put on vacation. IT is just an unending story of frustration.
@CreationByStephB When you inquire of Etsy do not keep sending more and more requests (tickets). IF you do they just keep closing them. When you get the autoresponse to the first one scroll down until you fins a link that says"I still need help" (or something similar. Click on that and then follow instructions for replying. That is the only way they know you still need help.
@ThePurplePuppy Geezus O.O I doubt anyone making mickey ears is making that much to afford that. I know I certainly couldn’t, so I don’t think my batman will be returning if that’s the case.
I doubt any od the people selling that stuff can either but then one never knows for sure.
You can write to Marvel, I think it is, and ask about the cost of Batman but it is probably prohibitive.
I understand some of the college sports teams will grant a limited license for an affordable fee. IF that interests you.
@ThePurplePuppy Batman is actually DC, for superman I would need to message Marvel but i’m not worried about that one cause I don’t make it much so I wasn’t going to bring it back after all this. Batman I would if I can find a way. I didn’t realize how strict fanart was since you can buy most of the stuff needed like the patches I used at hobby lobby and other craft stores.
I don't who owns what other than Disney as I stay away from that stuff--even the fabric.
And you are correct--the big stores might have a license to sell stuff but that license does not pas from them to you when you purchase.
@ThePurplePuppy To be honest I don’t even understand their message/ticket system so I probably am messing up somewhere on that too. I never saw an option for still need help, but it hd a spot to respond here above this line. When I would do that it wasn’t going through or something cause when I found my request on here it was showing blank for my response so then ai would try to respond on that and it’s just been a frustrating system to just try and get help.
Yes, that would be the link you are "supposed" to use. Keep trying.
I have quit trying to get to them at all. The only time would be in a situation like yours or if my account was hacked.
