Hello, is anyone else having technical difficulties replying to messages? I am unable to send reply messages. It keeps telling me to contact Etsy Support. Etsy support pages tell me to check in here on the forum. How to I escalate this to a tech support ticket request?
Were you sending unsolicited messages to potential buyers? If not, it could just be yet another glitch because it seems to be happening to a few others lately.
Contact Support through your Dashboard > Community & Help > Contact us > Managing my orders. Click the ''I still need help'' button.
Thank you! It was not unsolicited, I was attempting to reply to a buyer that messaged me directly. I was able to resolve it through etsy support. It seems the buyer that messaged me was flagged for something. It did seem like an odd message so I am guessing a spam or something. Etsy did not allow me to reply to this specific buyer.
@CDeltart: While most mutings were probably justified, there have been reports in this forum of some that appear to be a glitch in the system - the only way to open a support ticket is to follow the advise from @TheVintagePineapple . You might also be able to find the chat option (although that seems to suffering from its own set of glitches at the moment) or the request a call-back option.
