Is anyone else having problems with messages in the last few days or know of any technical issues causing problems?
I had a customer contact me yesterday regarding their order. I sent a reply within 30mins of recieving the message. I'm pretty sure I went back and read it after I sent it.
Had an email to say another message from same customer just now, 24 hrs after first message. When I check messages in app and online it is only showing the original message from customer and not my reply. On the desktop site I can see the number 3 indicating 3 messages are there, but only the original message showing
Anyone else having problems? I'm hoping it's just been an update issue and the messages will show up.
@EllenKirkAli - Check your shop's messaging Spam Box. Etsy has been sending real messages automatically to spam for the past few weeks.
Until they get this problem corrected, I'd suggest using a computer, a browser to check your shop messages. The app doesn't appear to be up to the task of handling messages, finding where Etsy has hidden them.
Yes, in the last few days I have also had messages which I can only see when using Etsy on desktop
On a computer, click those tiny diagonal lines in the lower right corner of the message - at least you'll be able to see a couple lines and be able to scroll.
I'm still getting a good view of all messages on mobile apps.
