For two days, I have tried to add listings. I used the copy-an-existing listing process, and I used the add-a-new-item from scratch process. Both ended up with an unable to publish message, claiming that core information was missing....and it is not. I have more than 100 items in my shop, add regularly, and am stuck. Glad it didn't happen a few days earlier when I had a custom order for a birthday to deliver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
This happens to me all the time when copying old listings.
Change the item from physical to digital, save, then change it back to physical.
This works for me 90% of the time.

This actually happened with a brand new listing. But I did what you said, changed it to digital....got a bunch of error messages...then changed it back to physical item. I had to reenter all of the physical info, but it did publish. You really helped me, for sure. THANK YOU!!!!
Happy to help.
It's ludicrous that Etsy still hasn't perfected the form. It caused me great anguish until I stumbled upon that stupid "fix".
On copy listings the core inforamtion is not shown so if you are using an old listing that did not have enough information to fill in the new requirements it won't publish. I don't have that issue as all my copied listings are from current. I did use an old listing though onceand had to go back to the core details to make sure everything was checked correctly. Once I did that I could publish.
