Unable to list for 2 1/2 weeks! Anyone else??

I've been unable to add new listings for 2 1/2 weeks and have reached out to Support multiple times. They told me to use to "old form" - I did and received the same error message. I've also been told by several agents that it's a problem that the engineers are aware of and are working on...that the agent will add the notes from "this chat to better help the engineers solve the problem". As of right now, Etsy status is "We’re fully operational". ??? Really?

I sell on multiple platforms and only use Etsy to sell vintage Beanie Babies...if a problem like this went on for longer than a few hours, the e-commerce site would cease to be.

Is ANYONE at there experiencing this issue as well? Being completely unable to list an item? I am so frustrated and at a loss...

I haven't had any problems listing new itemS the last couple of days, but continue having a problem relisting sold out items.  Almost always get the big red error banner.

For a year I have clicked back to the old form. In the earlier days of this etsy wanted to know why, why, why and I gave them my opinions.

I had no interest in trying the new form as I read reports of missing features and, sorry, not interested in purposely making myself a lab rat.

NOW their solution, days before the mandatory release, is "use the old form"??

What have they been doing for a year that their best advice about getting things to work with the new form is to use the old form?

There has been many changes on Etsy through the years, trust me they Will release it and they don't care they do what they want.

With the new form Don't try to edit a sold out listing or edit a copied listing.  You need to start from scratch or you get the error message. That their advice is to use the old form is ridiculous.  Wonder what will happen on the 25th or if they will push it back?.

I always try to create a new listing from scratch. I have tried on two different browsersand nothing works!  I honestly don’t know what to do…support gets me nowhere - I’ve reached out to them probably5 times by now…Not being able to list in my store for almost 3 weeks is absolutely insane. And it seems like no one else is experiencing this issue…so I guess support is just feeding me some mularkey!

@ChromeCactusBoutique It's not just you.  But I would absolutely try what others have suggested.  It's terrible that work arounds have to be done.  But if they work it's helpful.  I would also try cleaning out history, try using different devices and browsers.  Also make sure your operating system is up to date.  It may assist to do a system cleaning as well.  Hopefully this will do the trick!  However, it is possible you are one of the sellers impacted and the form won't work for you.  I'm having this issue myself.  

Etsy has been working on this program so it is getting better and working for more sellers all the time.  But it certainly does have a tone of glitches which seem to impact various sellers in different ways while others have no problems using it.  This isn't uncommon with program development.  But having something this buggy which has been operational for this long is concerning.  Hopefully it's worked out very soon.

Yep, I have problems with editing, creating or copying a listing using the old form.  I've chatted with support.  The technical problem has been verified that it's not on my end.  Sometimes I can list with the new listing form, sometimes I can't.  It's an intermittent problem.  I have never been able to use the Publish option.  I can choose the option to "leave" and sometimes the edits take while other times they don't.  I doubt I'll be listing new items or editing on Etsy very often after this month due to this problematic program unless these issues are resolved.

Your point about clearing out all history on whatever browser you are using is a good one, and also clearing out all cooking and caches.

you are NOT alone!  all of us have been reading these many, many posts for weeks now..... and heartily thanking all the sellers who have figured out a "work-around" for the many broken bits on the new form. it seems Etsy has been listening, and they are making changes.... it just seems like every new change breaks two old things... rinse, repeat.  

many of us came to Etsy from other venues (i came from eBay), and if push comes to shove... we can go back to those selling places.  and yes, eBay isn't the most ideal selling venue... however, Etsy is rapidly becoming just as awful.  

and ya know... at least we can actually LIST items on eBay!

Are you saying the new form has some bugs in it. I personally like the old form. The new form must benefit Etsy in some way that we may not be aware of, like tracking. Just a guess!

I'm also having trouble listing.  Right now it's frozen in some way.  The old form worked much bette for me.  I wonder why they can't offer both forms because so many people prefer the old one.

I think as of today you can't use the old form but unfortunately I keep getting the big red error message when using the new form.  I can't list anything so I guess off to my website I go.

I found that if I cancel all the dysfunctional pop-ups and return the the "Publish Changes" button, it does it.

I've been having the same issue the last few days as well.  I renew listings this time of year once I am able to begin making new items again.  I don't have time to create all of the listings from scratch.  But I was determined to make it work!!  So I cancel the pop-ups that says "Renew Listing" but cause the error messages "Leave site" or worse, the dreaded red message.  I cancel them all and just go back to the bottom original button "Publish Changes" and it does!!  Whew!  I certainly hope they get this figured out.
