Unable to issue refunds

A customer bought 3 items, each on a separate order and I want to issue refunds for postage on two. It's international postage, so it's not a small amount. I started the day the customer made the 3rd order and now all items have been sent in a single parcel. I've tried for days to do this, but each time, when I press the "review" button, the screen just greys out and nothing happens. I've cleared my cache but it didn't help. I'm using the latest version of Chrome on Win11 on a laptop.

Yes, I've had the same problem this week.  The page will keep trying to load (I closed mine after an hour yesterday), but the refund will go through.  Open a separate tab after a few minutes and you should see that the refund has gone through by checking the purchase page.

This has been happening for a while. Also Chrome, Windows 11:

I get the spinning wheel on a white screen after I've made a partial shipping refund. I open a new tab to check my payment account and I see the refund has been done so I close the spinning wheel screen.

Make sure to double check you did not issue multiple refunds but yeah, same issue here. I wait 5 to 10 seconds, refresh and I'm good to go.

Yes, this has been happening for a couple of weeks now.  I just move on and let it spin.  The refund always has gone through, though I do not receive a notification of refund completed for 24 - 48 hours later.  I think it has to do with Etsy's new policy of buyer choosing refund or Etsy credit.

I did a partial refund yesterday ... and the little thing kept spinning. Finally I closed the page. When I went back the refund had been done as I intended.

Thank you for all the people who have posted about refunds going into an endless loop because at least I knew enough to not keep clicking.

@DivineMiniaturesShop: When you get the seemingly blank page after processing a refund, just do a page refresh (usually <F5> or <CTRL><R>) and the page should display 'normally'.

Yes, that blank page after the refund is annoying!  But I've never had an issue with the refund not going through.

I'm not getting to the refund part! I click review on the first page and it won't ever load the next page to approve it. She's added another item now and I need to refund her. Is there any way to email etsy directly anymore?

@DivineMiniaturesShop  Hi, This happened to me this past Summer/Fall, with Partial Shipping Refunds. I would enter the amount of the refund, hit Preview, it was greyed out. However, I hit F5 (Refresh Page), and it showed the Refund went thru. It also showed the Refund on the Invoice. I started a Thread about this, because it was happening each and every time. Others said it was happening to them too. Hope this helps you and others having this issue. I don't know why the devil Etsy hasn't fixed this by now either.
