Unable to copy sold listing anymore!

Why does Etsy cut off possibility to copy already sold listings?

They don't. Go to your listing manager, filter by 'sold out'. Find listing and create copy there.

there is not possibility to copy, only renew. When does it started, i mean this new update with sold listings? So unfriendly to sellers.

It is a pain that they changed this, although I see it come and go, so it looks like some kind of test which I hope they don't keep.

To copy a listing now, go to your shop manager, click listings, then click on  sold out, then use the search bar to find the item you want to copy.

Click on the little gear and arrow symbols, and a window will open with four choices- edit, copy, deactivate, or renew.

It’s like that for me, too, now, on my desktop. I can still copy sold on my iPad, been that way a couple of weeks now, I think. On my desktop I can copy active listings but not sold. I can’t imagine why this changed, just makes more work for sellers.

@FoxBoxMarket I just tried to "Copy"a Listing from my "Sold Out" Folder and all options, including "Edit", "Copy", "Deactivate" and "Renew" are available.

Shop Manager, Listing Page, "Sold Out" (from the Listing Status Menu on the Right). I used the Gear Icon under the Listing Thumbnail for the Listing I wanted to Copy.

Also, what @ChristmasIsLove advises below also works if you click :"See Item Details","Edit"from "Listing Tools" and then select "Copy" from the "Manage" Gear Menu to the right

@FoxBoxMarket Try clicking on the photo (Orders page), then on See Item Details on the next page. That should open a page where you can copy the listing by using the Listing Tools menu across the top of the photo.

it used to work just fine yesterday, but today by clicking ,,orders page,, there is no ,,see item details,, anymore, there is ,,preview item details,, and by clicking that used to open new window with lot of listing tools including ,,copy,, But not anymore, now by clicking ,,preview item details,, opens inner kind of window with saying ,,sorry this item is sold out,, without any other options. But it still work from listing manager, sold, gear icon. Thanks to that.

I went in today to try and do this as well, Its no longer available all pictures of Original item gone.... Etsy this is not good we need to be able to see items incase there is an issue... MY CASE in point!

Don't try to go through your sold items on the orders/completed  orders page but go to the LISTING page and click sold items ( you can refine via the search bar) and copy/edit/renew from there. That is where I always did it..not sure why they axed the other pathway.

@hopeandjoystudios Per my reply below, I can click on the thumbnail photo on the Completed Orders page, which takes me to the page to Get Item Details, which takes me to a page where I can copy/edit/renew, etc. the listing.

Then why has everyone lately been saying going through sold orders no longer works? I tried it and yes it still does? Not sure what other way there was that there no longer isn't? Or has that just been bad intel? Whatever..potato/potahto..either way works.

@hopeandjoystudios IDK. Perhaps there is a difference between the APP and PC/Browser functions? I am using a PC Windows 11 / Chrome Browser and the ability to "Copy" a "Sold Out" Listing has always been present - BOTH from the Orders Page and from the Listing Page

I can still copy a sold listing, I do this via my shop manager and select LISTINGS and select sold on the right-hand side.

I just copied a sold out listing this morning, made changes to the photographs and put it in my draft folder to list closer to Christmas.  I am using desktop, Windows 11, Chrome.

i used to do all that from ,,sold orders,, without problems till today .. last night i made monthly update on my pc and my world changed LOL. At least it is possible to copy from ,,listings,, section.

@hopeandjoystudios maybe im not able to copy from ,,sold orders,, page anymore because i updated my pc, just regular update, and it updated me to new etsy settings and renewing's?

I go to the item that is sold go to the black gear, that says share,  copy etc. and hit copy. That is the way I have been doing it, didn't know till about a week ago there was another way.

I cannot copy from sold order page anymore either. I just get the "sold out" page with no way to copy. Using a desktop. Etsy just keeps doing things that make sellers work harder and harder and wasting our time.
