Unable to add bank details

After sending several emails to Etsy support without any solution, I'm coming here for help.

I am unable to add my bank details. Everytime I add my bank details I get an error:

Hmm. Looks like that didn't work. Try again.

The details entered are correct.

Support only gives me generic answers.

Where are you located? You have not added your shop location. That might help someone to solve your problem.

I'm not getting any more replies from Etsy so I guess I have to close my shop and look for other platforms.

Would have loved to stay here on Etsy but it seems impossible to fix a simple problem..

Update for anybody reading this:

So I've been going round in circles with Etsy support for about a week now. Not getting anywhere really.

In the meantime we are making another shop on Shopify. We used the exact same data to setup the account and we where done in minutes!

Etsy forced us to look at other platforms because they cant verify our bank account for some reason. Its a shame because at first we wanted to sell only on Etsy. Would have made Etsy a lot of money for sure.

I have to say Shopify looks great and very easy to use.

Are you trying to add bank details or change them? I ask because you already have 47 sales. I didn't think you could receive funds if you don't have a bank account already set up and verified.

Your bank account name needs to match the name on your Etsy account (your user name, not your shop name).

My bank details arent verified. And no, I can not receive funds, thats why I am moving to Shopify.

My Etsy shop is new and I made 47 sales in about a week. Could be a lot more, but we stopped sending traffic to Etsy and stopped adding listings.

My bank account name is my business name because it is a business bank account. Etsy wants my personal name on the account but in that case the name doesn't match by bank account.

This is the problem and we are going in circles for a week now.
