Unable to access seller forums.

Anyone else having an issue? I can see Announcements and Technical Issues and nothing else. I signed out, then signed back in with no access on desktop.

Today is the day Etsy was going to start limiting access.  They probably screwed the pooch again.

make sure you're logged into your Etsy account ... they announced a week or so ago that starting March 26 you would have to be logged in to see some forum posts.

@CraftyCornishMaids exactly. I'm signed in properly, just can't access anything other than Announcements and Technical Issues, hence the OP. I'm not sure there is another way to log in. Am I missing something?

Nope. 

Etsy just implemented this change today.

I've never seen them implement anything and have it go as planned.... so.... sounds like there's a glitch in their programming they haven't worked out yet. 

Appears that anyone that stayed signed in is fine and still has full access. But anyone trying to log back in after signing out for any reason only has access to the parts staying public. 

I stand corrected. Looks like it's now a glitch for everyone.

Probably they are fixing something… I am logged in.. weren't we always? Could anyone reach the sellers forums without being logged in?

Ah, I didn't pick up on the fact that only certain categories were displaying for me.  (I was following a few threads and then got the red banner.  I assumed it meant that some rule-breaking shops got taken down super-quick.  Silly me!)

I'm logged in & the only 2 things in the Forum dropdown menu are for Announcements and Technical Issues too. I was under the impression we needed to be signed in to view everything starting today. But I'm logged in & don't see other topics.

@JeanieBeanHandKnits  - The Announcement Banner has been up for a while stating that starting today, March 26th, the forums would only be accessible when signed into your shop.

I noticed changes about 15 minutes ago & now all that I can see is the Announcements & Technical forums. These two forums were going to be open for anyone to read so that shop owners could easily access notices about problems in the Technical forum & read Etsy's announcements.

Now where all the other forums have disappeared to - they're no longer in the drop down menu - I have no idea. And for the moment the threads I'd saved in "my subscriptions" have disappeared except for the few from the Technical forum. I'd kept some of those for easy access Etsy article links. 

I get the feeling this will be a day of changes.

@JMOldeVintage yes, I've seen the announcement and was expecting the changes. I'm signed into my shop. Hopefully this will be short lived. Nothing else in the dropdown box, at least not now.

Well it could get more "entertaining" here in the Technical Forum since for some, when they want/need help they will post first, browse articles later. Since this is the only forum "open" at this minute........

Etsy must have a glitch.

I just signed on to my laptop...so for sure I am signed in.

If you go up to the top and select "Seller Forums"  it says what you have.  Does anyone have more than these two?

I'm imagining one team coming up with the idea to restrict access unless logged in with exceptions, another team responsible for announcement and another team responsible for the implementation. That would explain so much going wrong.

I think there's a spanner in the system at the moment, my forum activity has gone awry, my latest post from this morning has gone awol !! ;0))
