Hi everyone,
I’m unable to update the location of my Etsy shop, and I’m not seeing the dropdown menu to select a city at all.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
Using different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) on desktop
Clearing cache and cookies
Disabling VPN
Switching devices (desktop and mobile browsers)
Entering valid city
Waiting 30 seconds after typing before clicking Save
But despite all this, there’s no dropdown menu, and no city can be selected — the field just doesn’t offer suggestions or save anything. I’m editing via Shop Manager → pencil icon next to shop name → Location (desktop site).
Has anyone else experienced this? This is crucial for my shop’s visibility and building trust with buyers.

The editing of location does not work at all from either location: shop edit or public profile. Can't type in either. Save does not work.
I too am without location. I sent in a support request too. Not going to hold my breath. I've even tried to get the mods involved in hopes they would report the issue.

I just figured it out! Go on etsy from your phone (mobile browser--not the app). Tap Request desktop site, edit shop, drop down menu shows up.

I've tried to use the browser from my mobile, but it doesn't work. I've tested AdBlock and Chrome, later one I might test something else, I'll contact support today.
It just worked for me. I had to use Microsoft edge and then go to the desktop site. This only worked in edge and doesn’t work in safari or chrome
@VintageFromOccitanie I had the same issue as you. I tried different browsers, devices, and repeatedly logging out and back in, but nothing worked. I contacted the support yesterday, and GOOD NEWS! This morning, everything is fixed! I can now update my location without any problem. If you haven't contacted the support yet, I would suggest giving it a try. Good luck!
I tried it now on Edge, it doesn't work!
I have the same Probelm. To dropdown does not show and the fields stays empty. But if I look at the shop from customer side it says Poland as location what is wrong. Weird situation. I will also contact the support, but my hopes are not high after what I read here
@Goalbound: Your shop home page shows no location. Your listings say 'Ships From Poland' but that is based on the data in your shipping profile.
Try Brave browser. I had no luck with the main browsers but Brave worked. Another seller discovered this.
