I am so frustrated. Last week Etsy suspended my shop for unverified tax information. After submitting all the required documents, they verified everything and gave me my shop back without any of the active listings and without the ability accept payments (because of unverified tax information even thought all has been verified). My case has been “referred” to the Etsy team three times since last Thursday but I haven’t received any emails. Is this how they treat us? They make money from our ability to sell on their platform. They require us to reply to messages within 24 hours, yet I haven’t heard anything from them in over 72 hours. To add salt to the wound, they were definitely on time collecting their fees from me this morning.
