USPS Tracking Number is showing false mailing status

I mailed a sold item the Monday after purchase. I have the USPS receipt with the tracking number printed on it.  I had the package by a live person at the post office but the status at USPS still says it’s in pre-shipment status.  This is impacting my 100% shipping rating.

It has not been scanned yet. Just because you handed it in at the counter does not mean they scanned it.
