USPS Surcharge Does Not Seem To Be Applied On Calculated Priority Mail Shipping

We use calculated shipping (but not Etsy labels) and for First Class Parcels Etsy appears to calculate the recent holiday surcharged rates correctly. But on Priority Mail the shipping charged calculates out to be the rate without the surcharge. Has anyone else noticed this?

I am experiencing the same issue but for FC and Priority. My customers get charged a pre-holiday shipping rate care of the calculator and I get shorted.

Etsy is not charging holiday rates on some Priority shipments. If you them ship NOT via Etsy (Or Pirateship who is doing the same thing) the money charged will not be enough to cover shipping. If you set your shipping charged to retail rates it might charge enough.

Since you’re using calculated shipping, you can also temporarily (or permanently) add a handling fee to your shipping profile. The USPS surcharges are .25 - .80, I believe, and are based on location distance.
