Hi everyone,
Since yesterday, neither I nor my buyers can click the “Proceed to checkout” button on ANY of my listings. This means all my products are effectively unsellable right now.
What I’ve tried:
This is an account-wide technical problem. I’ve emailed Etsy Support but the wait time is 1–2 days — hoping posting here will get staff attention faster.
If any other sellers are experiencing this, please chime in so Etsy can escalate it to their tech team ASAP.
Thanks,
Byron
shop: BHWellness
It says "All payment methods for this shop are temporarily unavailable" at checkout. Pretty sure that usually means there is an issue getting your shop set up with etsy payments so not really a bug but something specific to your shop set up. Unfortunately only etsy support can help with it so you have to wait for them to reply.
If you search the forums here for that phrase (All payment methods for this shop are temporarily unavailable) you will find many threads about it.
You must enroll in Etsy payments
The issue could also be that OP is making medical claims with most of their listings which is a violation of Etsy's policies.
I put a medical disclaimer in the images, description and the product, saying specifically that I’m not giving medical advice. Problem fixed now - it was just a bug.
Disclaimers rarely work, buyers tend not to read them. What's more, Etsy is more likely to take them as a "save my a**e" measure, and consider them misleading. Any mention of symptoms, wellbeing or therapeutic benefits are a no-no.
You have no payment methods in place. Either Etsy is still verifying you for Etsy Payments, or it may be that Etsy is looking more closely at your shop to ensure your items comply with their requirements. Your "holistic medicine" downloads appear to claim theraputic benefits which is something Etsy does not allow.
You have to set up your payments. Are you located in the US or elsewhere?

@BHWellness your payment methods issue appears to be fixed now. Are you still seeing the issue?
Thanks everyone, It turned out to just be a bug.All fixed now.
Also, regarding medical claims, I’ve got clear disclaimers to say I am not making medical claims etc
Also, in addition to the medical disclaimer, I have now gone through and deleted anything that could be misunderstood to possibly be a medical or therapeutic benefit claim. I sell wellness information guides, not products designed to treat or fix medical issues
@BHWellness The sub-titles shown on several of your thumbnail photos make medical claims, too. Phrases such as ''Improve sleep to boost energy'' and ''Restore inner calm & mental clarity'' are just two that would be considered medical claims.
