UNABLE TO VERIFY BANK ACCOUNT Problem from Philippines

Good Day.

Last week Etsy send email for the bank verification and after I put all the CORRECT details of my bank I waited 24-48 hours to receive the small deposit but suddenly Etsy is unable to verify my bank. I tried it 3 times but same error and now they suspend me because of the maximum attempts. I Don't know what is the reason I put all the correct info we went to the bank but there is no problem of my bank account. I also asked my co-seller from Philippines but I found out that we have the same issue. Majority of them got suspended because of this problem. And when we email the customer support they said that they only remove the suspension if we verify our bank. Before the verification we receive the deposit smooth to our bank but now we can't receive any micro deposit. Anyone help us to please address this issue. 85% Etsy Seller from Philippines is now have this problem.

Yay! How many days did it take for them to send you a microdeposit after uploading a bank statement?

It's been 5 days since I've uploaded mine and I still haven't received any response that they have reviewed my account or what

OMG. Finally I am able to update bank details. Now waiting for the micro deposit - another few days?  Fingers and toes crossed!!!

It's been 5 days since I uploaded my bank statement and I keep coming back to this thread out of anxiety. I know that it'll all get fixed soon, but the wait is wearing me down -- will update here if anything progresses!

May 17 update: I opened a new help request because my original one was being ignored and the reply was to submit a bank statement again but I couldn't bc I reached the max number of attempts verification. Asked for them to reset it and hopefully by tomorrow I can submit it again.

May 22 update: Asked for updates via email and a specialist said that my bank statement is still in review.

Tomorrow's the 5th day and I'm really hoping it'll get resolved by then.

May 23 update: Turns out my 5th day is on the 25th instead of today since I uploaded the soa on a wednesday.

But today I saw my balance go up as available for deposit although there is no 'request it now' button.

I'm lucky to be able to get in touch with Etsy support but even after a lot of back and forth with them and trying 3 different bank accounts, the small deposit still would not come through. I don't know what to do at this point. I never had any problems getting funds from Etsy until this recent verification step.

I don't think the microdeposit is working for PH sellers.

Upon asking a Filo, who got his shop unsuspended. I submitted the following as of last night:

1. Bank Certificate (Verification of Account Ownership)
2. Bank Certificate (Official Receipt)
3. Bank Statement

After submitting, I emailed Etsy to have a person from finance, look at it.

As of today, I'm not getting an re-enter error (usually upon upload I'll get a verification error again the next day). So just waiting if this will be resolved or not.

I'm still waiting to reinstate my etsy account .I already sent my bank statement and Bank certificate last saturday .I hopefully they do manual verification this time .Its been 3 weeks now already .

Same here. Never had any trouble with my account until I got verification email and tried to verify my Bank account. Since then, my account had been suspended, and I updating my bank information and uploading SOA every other day. But no luck and the micro deposit never came through.

I've submitted 7 requests to the etsy support, but got response only once - two weeks ago. Feel so frustrated.

My shop was reinstated just a while ago. Submitted the docs above that I stated

I got a message from Etsy Support saying they have fixed the issue.

"Good news! We won't require the bank statement anymore since we've already fixed the issue with receiving the small deposit for PH sellers. With that said, I went ahead and unlinked your bank account on file. Please follow the steps below:
 
1. Add your bank account under Shop Manager> Finances> Payment Settings
2. Wait for the test deposit within 3-5 business days
3. After receiving the deposit, please know that there is 2-3 waiting time before you can verify it
4. When entering the amount, please don't include the decimal. For example, you received 0.20, enter 20 instead of 0.20.
5. Once verified, you should be able to receive deposits accordingly and please respond to this email so we can reinstate your account."

@DigitalNatures  Hello same here ! I've been struggling for two weeks and when I enter the deposit on the screen it says it's wrong. how did you solve the problem? do you have any advice i am a seller from turkey. thank you .

I am also stuck here in bank verification. Still requesting for my bank statement. This is really frustrating. My shop got suspended after its first sale and now my bank can't be verified.
