Weird issue going on for a few months now. On my phone, Android, using Chrome. Everywhere else on the site I can type normally, but when typing a message in the message box, weird things happen. It's like the keys are slippery lol if that makes any sense. So the normal typing vibration has turned itself off, keypad is extra sensitive, one tap give multiple letters, deleting with backspace is impossible, instead it duplicates the word or part of it.

Call your carrier first. They may be able to fix the issue.
That sounds like a device issue, not an Etsy issue. You can try using Google to get help for your specific device.
Carrier issue and/or device issue.
However, if using a desktop in the future and you are having the "delete" issue where the cursor jumps to the end of your message visually, BUT then if you type your next letter you go back to where you were typing...THAT is still an Etsy issue. They haven't fixed it and is has been an issue for over a month.
I have this same problem when their conversation type box opens. It's incredibly frustrating. I don't think it's an issue with the carrier, I've had 2 different phones do this; it's as if someone dipped all the letters in butter and put them on a hot skillet and then said to someone "try to type something, I dare you." I have to type very slow and triple check that all my words came out the way I intended them.
