Seeking other sellers whose "Message Seller" is posted as inaccurate.
Each of our listing pages has a "Message [insert Seller's name]"
Under my own listings, my "Message Briana" says this that I will "Typically Repond within a Month"
This is inaccurate and it's been so for a year and half now with no recourse or help from Etsy in fixing it. Recently I was told by a potential customer that she wouldn't buy a $3000 quilt from my shop because of this message, despite my Star Seller Status and 1,272, five star reviews. This is obviously hurting my business and is a loss for both myself and Etsy.
No one in their right mind would tell their potential customers on their own website that they probably won't email them for a month. I don't understand how this message serves anyone involved. Etsy loses sales, and we lose sales.
I'm seeking other sellers who have similar inaccurate "Message Seller" response messages on their own Etsy listings to help in getting this issue solved once and for all. Please help us help ourselves!!
I have an open ticket with Etsy and I get on the Chat window every day asking for an update on this issue and give the ticket number. If enough of us open tickets on this problem, perhaps Etsy will take us seriously. They say they have a "dedicate team" working on this issue but it has gone on for far too long for me to believe that this will ever be resolved. I'm asking Etsy to simply REMOVE this message from all shops until it works correctly. That doesn't seem like too much to ask.
