I'm perfect score in all the requirements but the messaging i'm 75% in. Both of those messages that I missed, one was spam, and one was just a tracking number for something I had purchased. How do i remedy this before april?
mark them both as spam.
i just marked the spam as spam today, and i had already deleted the tracking number. dang
retrieve it from your Trash folder and mark it as Spam. now you know for the future.
Did you reply to the spam message or put it into your spam folder? If not, it will count against you.
As per Star Seller policies, ALL messages (from buyers, sellers, scammer) must be either replied to or put into spam folder within 24 hours of receipt.
No not within 24 hours, I take it I missed out on star seller. Maybe next time.
@TrippyTaka you can get the tracking number from your purchases under your avatar on the home page up in the right hand corner. Good luck with it.
I got burned when I sent a message to my buyer that needed her order canceled from the page to cancel. It says" A personalized message helps end the transaction on a good note, but they don't mean it for the seller if they don't also send a message on the dang message page!
The dude I bought something from on etsy had an automatic reply that sent the tracking number to my messages. I didn't ask him for it. I felt no need to respond lol.
One requirement regarding Star Seller is that ''you must have been on Etsy’s platform for 90 days since your first sale.'' Looking at the date of your first review, you might not have met that requirement.
Another requirement of achieving and retaining the Star is that you comply with Etsy's policies, specifically the IP policy.

I have had Star Seller and it seemed to make no difference for my shop. Now I don't make enough sales to qualify. Too much competition.
