So I tried to update my legal name under "Legal and Tax information" on Etsy to fix some mistake with the name order (Given/middle/family name). I submitted it with my passport, but it's been a few days already and it's still on pending. Meanwhile, Etsy keeps emailing me that I need to submit documents to verify my taxpayer ID in order to get paid @@
I don't have GST/HST registration, and I'm pretty sure it is only required when your gross income reach 30k a year, which is not my case. So I wonder if it is SIN number that they are asking (I'm in Canada btw). If not, I guess the only problem left is the legal name? T^T Do you know how long it normally takes them to verify this? It says it would take up to 48 hours, but I've waited longer than that already, so I got a little nervous T^T
