Trouble with messages

Is anyone else having trouble in messaging?  If I need to edit something I typed or add to the message (like in the middle of the sentence), all of the new keystrokes go to the end of the original message.  This is hard to explain but if you're having this issue - you know! It's so annoying!

Since nothing else is working right for me today (TV, phone, cooking (lol), I figured it was me or my computer.  Glad to see that for once, it's not me screwing up.

Thought I might explain - some tall weeds (plants) were blocking my dish (TVsignal), I have a new phone (that I haven't quite mastered) so I couldn't hang up my phone after a botched call and it looks like my blackberry cobbler isn't doing what I expected it to do (shouldn't have used that new recipe from the internet) - should have made it the way I always did before.

Forget to mention that I can't turn off the flash on my camera (I really am technology stupid - it's not just an act).

We are experiencing the same issues with the cursor jumping to the bottom. Looks like it hasn't been fixed yet.

There is a bug or something today.  I went to look at my orders and not all of them would load.  Orders that I've already had the money deposited today....I even clicked on a message from one of the buyers and it came up as a blank page as if the message didn't exist.  A few moments later it popped up, then was gone again.

I am having the same issue as well, was just getting ready to call IT! So happy it's not me LOL! Will wait patiently for Etsy to fix it

Me too! The workaround is to add my text into a word doc and then copy and paste it into my messages. I need it fixed right away as I get many messages per day. I just copied and send a reply to the wrong customer... ouch. Big goofup.

ETSY... please please fix this. I get tons of messages!

Happening with us as well, cursor jumps to the end after the second key press when editing a message. Quite an irritating issue hopefully it will be fixed soon.

It does not seem to be happening in any other text entry areas, such as 'Add Note to Order'.

Does the contact us page NO longer have a technical issue option?

I was going to send an email but there's no longer an option for site issues on the contact / help page.

I looked on the buyer and seller options.

ETA: I think Etsy does read these forums but rarely reply.

Geez......this is still NOT fixed. 

I was sending a friend a message and went back to add something at the beginning and now the cursor keeps going back to the last line.
How annoying.

(For those who haven't seen the following):
On Pg. 1, Seller TaylorStreetFavors posted they Chatted to Etsy, who said they were looking into it.  (9 hours ago).

Above, @vintageNCtreasures  "atted" the Admin at top of this Technical Issues Forum.  Thank You for doing this.
There is no further Announcement up there, other than the one which has been there for a while, "Resolving Site Issues".

Yes, it started this morning and is still going on.  We're typing messages in Notepad, then doing a copy and paste (and hopefully not sending to the wrong customer, that's easy to do).  It's very aggravating and we hope Etsy is working on this.

During dinner, I picked up my phone to quickly answer a question and it works perfectly as designed on the phone. (iPhone)

Same problem here - site wide issue it seems - hopefully Etsy will fix it soon...  Real pain in trying to respond to customers!
