Hello, I got my nif-iva number on October 22nd from the authorities of my country and added it to my etsy information, but since then, I've been seeing a yellow error message and receiving emails asking me to update my information.
Seems the issue is that I put the ISO country code, on my case 'ES' from España, and Etsy don't work with those first two letters. On the VIES website, I can see my nif-iva number is valid, and then a follow up message saying the following: 'Please note that the original VAT number has been corrected before being validated.
The following change has been applied:
- The country ISO code has been removed from the VAT number'.
Okay, so I try to update the number on Etsy, but nothing happens. Contacted them many times and they kept telling me it was an internal bug that would get solved (it did only for some days) and that they would send me an email that never arrived.
Does anyone know what I can do to update my Nif-iva on Etsy? The end of the year is around the corner and I don't want my store put into vacation mode for a bug.
