I set up my shop about 10 days ago but still no listing is visible - via Printify.
I thought that maybe my shop is being reviewed and submitted a request for clarification - but havent got any answer so far.
About 2 hours ago I got a message via Etsy indicating further bank verification ''Etsy Verification Process'' - for ''them'' to make sure i am not a fraud and I am not laundering money.
Long story short - they made me pay, so 700 EUR went away, my account is blank as new snow.
I reported this to Etsy and to my bank too, so I am listing this here in case there is anyone new around here and gets scammed.
Just to give you an idea I am pasting here the first part of their message:
''Etsy user support welcomes you. My name is Amelia and I am your personal online support assistant. To continue selling on our website you need to complete an operation of additional verification of your profile Step 1) Click button "Proceed verification" After clicking it you will have special fields to enter the card you want to use for verification Step 2) Put the details of the card you want to use for verification After putting the data I will reply you in 5 minutes and give you further instructions how to act and what to do''.

Aw, you just got scammed. Get in touch with your bank and see if you can get your funds back.
You have been scammed.
@Flahoolix I'm so sorry that you got scammed.
Yes, sometimes a bank can intervene but not sure about it since you were the one that did it. Either way, you need to familiarize yourself with these issues so it doesn't happen to you again. You can find advise from Etsy here, as well as how to identify a real Etsy email:
