Tropical Australia is a long way from Michigan!

Viewed on the Etsy Buyer App, all my items are shipping from Michigan. I'm in Australia - The bulk of my customers are Australian because they can get their orders quickly - They will not buy if Etsy tells them it is coming from Michigan! Etsy, this is a real problem!

@bobsiDi - Not sure if it would be affecting your US sales - More likely your Australian ones.

@CostumePatternTrim Thanks for your input. I have only had one sale from Australia in a month and that was from a guest buyer.

@CostumePatternTrim Thanks for checking. I took the advice from @givemeacrown shop who suggested putting 00 in front of my postcode. I changed all my listings to 004870. I know you are Cairns as well. I looked up the US postcodes for each state and Michigan starts with 48001 onwards etc postcode. No wonder the people at Etsy are being lazy thinking that our postcode is Michigan. A real stuff up! I have a friend in NZ who also sells on Etsy and her postcode is showing Oklahoma! Etsy must think everyone is in the US. I am wondering if this stuff up has resulted in no sales for me from the US in weeks (almost unheard of).

@bobsiDi this is the first time I'm hearing it is a problem for our kiwi friends. Can you please advise them to contact Etsy tech help asap. It might also help if they posted in the forums for any NZ sellers who might not be aware.
