I noticed today that I have 2 orders flagged as missing the shipping deadline with tracking not entered. However, both of them have tracking, were shipped on time, and have been recorded correctly. The tracking numbers are royal mail recorded delivery and the orders are no different to any of my other orders which are all recorded fine. This technical issue is impacting on my star seller rating. Please advise.
It can take a day or two for the tracking to show up in Star Seller. Check again tomorrow.

did you manually input the tracking numbers yourself? I have twice seen an error , when manually inputting a tracking number underneath where you have to put the tracking an error message shows up and says this order has no tracking even though I just put it in, the first time I saw it I ignored it and my SS showed one order with no tracking, second time I saw it, I deleted the tracking and retyped it and the error message went away. Just another Etsy glitch that probably will not get fixed.
Thank you, that sounds most likely. I do manually add the tracking numbers but haven't noticed any errors but it does look like this is a glitch. It won't prevent me from keeping my star staus but it has affected my % completed so thought it was worth flagging. I'll keep a close eye in future when I'm updating, it's too late to go back now as one of them was August and the other at the beginning of October.
If you put the tracking numbers in later, after the ship-by date, they end up late, so count against you
The CSV's should highlight what etsy thought the problem was
OP clearly states she shipped on time, I have had this happen to me please refer to my post above. Nothing to do with sellers doing something wrong its an error on Etsys part.
I am perfectly aware they were shipped on time, I did NOT say they were shipped late
I said, if they enter the tracking number, after the ship date, then etsy says it's late

you can mark it as complete, without a tracking number, on time
then go back in later and add the tracking number, but if you add it after the ship by date, etsy puts it as late shipping on the star seller stats, it updates the ship date, with the date you updated the tracking number
Thank you, the tracking number was put in when I updated the order as completed which was well within the shipping time. Looking at the data it's saying 'no' in the processing time. Not sure what that means, but the orders I completed either side of this one are all okay and I would have done them all the same. The same happened a few months later. It's very odd, obviously if I'm doing something wrong I want to know so that I can avoid it in future before it has an impact on my rating. Thanks for responding.
The "no" in the processing time, says it doesn't think you had a processing time set, with with a number of delivery days, as etsy adds one to the other, to get estimated delivery date.
Old listings didn't need them, but new listings have needed them for a while.
Are you using standard shipping templates, if so, check the ones you used.
If they were set up in the listing, and not as a separate profile, you may need to check listings set up this way.
Thank you, yes I have checked that and both of the orders were long standing made to order items with appropriate processing time. Other orders for the same item on the same day have not got this issue. It definitely looks like a glitch for these two orders. I have sold the same item on this listing many times before and since both of these orders so it's very odd. I'll have to find out how to report it as an issue I think. @MaxPringJewellery its not easy to see, on my laptop i have to scroll just a cm down to see it if its there, now that I am aware of it I do. its not In red or highlighted as a matter of fact the font is smaller then the rest of the font on the page so yeah its not easy to see.

I am having the same trouble,,, I shipped out two items way before they were due and one came up as not shipped in time!!! so it took ,my rating way down???? I don't under stand this ,, this is the second time it has kept me from getting my Star for the month!!! glendagail
Hopefully tech will come back with a solution, as it must have affected others too. I'm sorry you lost your rating for the month. So far mine has only dipped in % but if it happens more often then it could have a cumulativve effect over a few months. I'm sure we can't be the only ones it has or will affect.
