I thought I'd done everything right:
I mean... I'm sitting at 90% because Etsy says one of my orders is missing a tracking number. But, I'm looking at the order, and the tracking number is sitting right there looking at me. I submitted it when I completed the order, but Etsy simply doesn't see it?
How does this happen?
Hello @VollmacVintage,
We've double-checked the order that is affecting your Star Seller, and it appears that the tracking number you've added can't also be tracked on the carrier's website. It is possible that the number entered may not be the tracking number, or a slight error may have been made in entering the number. Or, the wrong carrier may have been added or chosen. Please check the carrier and the tracking number match. If the carrier and tracking numbers do not match, this will count as an invalid tracking number. You can check our help center article explaining how to add or edit a tracking number.
Thank you very much!
The star seller program is seriously flawed and endless complaints about it from sellers. Honestly, huyets do not focus on such. As long as you are doing your part with good reviews, do you really need a purple badge for validation?

You may have a typo in it. I've done it—once. Now I triple check it.
Some couriers are just not recognised by Etsy. I have had to stop using one of the largest and cheapest couriers in Europe because their tracking numbers are not recognised and the shipments count as "no tracking" even though the tracking code has been entered and is perfectly visible and trackable on the courier's site. Result: I have to charge buyers a much higher shipping price by using another courier- not good for them, not good for my sales and obviously not good for Etsy.
They are not changing it, though.
We have updated the tracking number as per the guidelines in the articles that was attached, there was a typo. Now that we have fixed this, does this mean we will see an update to our shipping accuracy?
@VollmacVintage: It usually takes a day or two for the CSV file to correctly show tracking and shipment status and the Star Seller stats to auto update.
