Title won't go in.

I type a title in and I keep getting the pink saying to fix the title.  Before I type anything in it's already got that 80/140 in.  I've tried three times to enter a title and it does not go.  I've never had a problem like this.  Any suggestions please.  Thanks

Check to see if you have a leading space.

If it is showing 80 characters and you have no letters entered, somehow a long string of spaces was entered.  And a title can't begin with a space, so even if there is only one space, it is going to consider it an invalid title.
