Tired of seeing wrong image on listings Etsy!

This seems to happen a lot lately. The wrong photo appearing on the listing. The correct one appears when you click on it - but a big turn off for buyers if they are mean to be looking at an Arabia Finland plate ....and a photo from a completely different listing shows up from a different category.

Where are people seeing the wrong image? I checked out your shop and the image I see on the main page is the same one I see when I click the listing.

It happens for periods..then it fixes itself...and only seems to effect some users, at some times.......but if It is happening to me it must happen to others viewing listings.

I'm getting it all the time.  This is on the main shop page when searching for an item.  The images change to I think other shop images further down the page, and you end up scrolling up and down to find what you were just about to click on.  Also, I still have blacked out images, and shop owners banners are just a bunch of thin lines, so it is still happening.

I have been dealing with this in Safari for months. It's a known Safari issue. Apple hasn't done anything to address it and I don't know if Apple needs to fix something or if the handful of websites it affects haven't done what they need to do to be compatible with the updated OS. There are a number of threads on the Apple support forum.

From the standpoint of web designers, Safari has become the new Internet Explorer (IE) --- for those of us old enough to remember all the non standard ways that IE did things and the messy work arounds that had to implemented.

It's not a Safari specific issue though, it's happening on chrome as well. Both android and desktop. From the standpoint of web designers it's embarassing because WebKit based browsers make up the lion's share of users.

It is a complete mess now, one day fine, the next day you cant even see the images because of multiple images crammed in the same preview box, usually from different sellers.

I'm so glad I found this thread because I've contacted Etsy several times now and they keep giving me the run around - telling me it looks fine on their end and to just clear my cache, which I've done and it still doesn't work. I started to feel like I'm the only one going through this and it may just be my laptop which I guess is kind of old but not outdated. It's frustrating to say the least! I've seen my images on someone else's listing and then when I click on it it goes to that shop's listing with their images. It only happens on my laptop not on the Etsy app, which I think explains why the majority of my views comes from the app with Etsy search coming in a distant setting. I really wish Etsy would take this issue seriously!

I have different pics coming up on the shop as apposed to my app. It's driving me mad. I don't know how to fix it. Sometimes they even list the same item twice which I never would do.
