YES they have messaged me before! All the previous messages are showing. What's up with this Etsy?

I'd say it's most likely a delayed notification, possibly caused by an overdose of tryptophan or spiked eggnog!
Are all the buyers messages on the same thread? If they start a new message thread instead of replying on the current thread, you have to answer the new thread.
