There is a button called (Create custom order) in your dashboard and if you try to use it ANY DIGITAL OFFERING will not complete. Etsy will only allow you to create a physical product now. Remember how easy this was on the old retired form. No more. Etsy support explained you can create a brand new PUBLIC listing for everyone to see then delete it after the order is paid for. It is supposed to just go to the one single buyer that wants the custom order but that no longer works for digital orders. So for all of us that make custom digital products it may be difficult to impossible to fulfill the (Create custom order) for any Etsy buyer ever again.

Do you mean the custom order button that is attached to convos? I haven't seen one on the dashboard.

The one attached to convos doesn't work for supplies either, because it keeps demanding an entry for "craft type" when there's no way to indicate a craft type on that form.

Seriously for all the money Etsy charges in fees. There website is horribly restrictive.  The fact I can't create a custom order for an individual anymore because they can't seem to figure out how to add a field to a form for a required (usless) piece of information is insane.

you can't do a lot of things with the custom listing,

for example , it only sets it up for your own country, you can't add a shipping profile until afterwards

you have to change a lot of things after it's set up,

can you change it to digital, after you set it up ?
