Some of my Items renewed . . . . even though they are set to manual renew

I had 2 or 3 items in my shop renew yesterday even though they are set to renew manually.  I went into each of them just to make sure they aren't set to auto-renew and they aren't.

Has anybody had this happen?

It's a somewhat common glitch on Etsy for some people. It hasn't happened to my shop yet that I know of.

Go to the top of the listings page, click the All Items and under Editing, choose Manual Renew.  It's best to do this periodically.  Auto Renew is the default and some items get changed to default by Etsy, not sure why or when.

Thank you.   I do this once a week.  These items had been expired since mid-July and all of a sudden renewed.

If you view your listing in edit mode at all it defaults back to auto. You don't have to change anything.  Sometimes a glitch. I had an item sell that was ooak and I  thought I had previously sold. No clue how it ended up back in inventory. Luckily the customer was understanding and came back and bought 2 more items.

I have the opposite problem. Mine don’t renew when they are on auto so I changed a lot of them to Manuel. I’m going to have to start paying attention. Thanks for the heads up.
