Hi, To become Star seller I was missing only the dispatch stats, my dispatch stats where at 94% but on the 30th of September I have dispatched two more orders with tracking number but the system updated the stats only today the 1st of October and so not being star seller for October, and showing me that I will be on November, I believe this is incorrect and just a glitch in the system since the dispatch was on the 30th and the review period was until the 30th of September.
Regards
Michael
@RusticWoodVibes: There are innumerable threads about this every month, and unfortunately, Etsy had made it clear that they will not manually adjust Star Seller data.
First, you have may entered the dreaded time zone trap. September 30 to you may be October 1 to Etsy. Secondly, looking at other posts in this forum it seems that the last few days of a month routinely get rolled into the next month when doing Star Seller calculations.
And have the packages been scanned? There seems to sometimes be (an up to 24 - 48 hour) delay for Etsy's tracking vendor to update after the first scan.
Hello @RusticWoodVibes,
We've double-checked your Star Seller for the previous review period and it seems that the two orders you shipped last September 30, 2022, were included in the calculation. However, the On-Time shipping & Tracking is still at 94%. As a result, the Smooth shipping badge wasn't received. You can double-check the On-Time shipping CSV by going to your Shop Manager dashboard > Star Seller dashboard page > Last Review period > select the On-time shipping & tracking tile > Select the ‘Download'
Thank you very much!

The packages has been scanned and where seen as dispatched and in transit on the 30th on etsy, is juts the stats got updated on the 1st today. Is just a shame for not resolving this. Thanks
All ETSY needs to do is to give some of their associates a "Bypass" button to push in order to keep sellers happy and feeling whole. We're ETSY clients and customers in the process too!
Etsy often lacks accuracy.
In Transit packages are sometimes mismarked as Pre Transit status on Etsy’s website, even though the USPS tracking number and the updated location is recorded just below the Pre Transit heading.
Etsy’s error in not updating the status, can trigger a second Etsy error by damaging and miscalculating your dispatch score, as well as your star seller status.
Thankw, but that is not the issue, Etsy saw the status of the dispatch on the day, just the stats have updated a day later.
It seems all stats relating to the star seller program take a day or two to update. It is best to not consider the last two days of the month counting in your stats. I get the messaging, since you get 24 hours to respond, which can take you into the next month. You would think they could find a way to count the tracking and reviews.
I’m not understanding this at all. The last three days of September messages are not counted. This is stupid. Etsy is stupid. I’ve been star seller for 6 months. Received 16 messages - 1 message out of 16 kept me at 91%. They only counted the first 11 messages. How hard is it to set the update a day or two later to count everything through the end of the month? Idiots.
@PalmettoDriftwood: Are you basing the 11 messages on the appropriate CSV file? Only the first message of a new thread counts for Star Seller and that message does not seem to be counted until the 24 hour response window has passed and at the end of the month there seems to be a mismatch as to which month the thread applies to, usually caused by timezone issues.
What's really ridiculous is I got an ETSY message regarding this thread that says....."A reply to a topic you are following has been accepted as a solution!" When they get stupid and show it, they just double down and get ridiculous....
LOL, there is never a solution for any of these open issues that ETSY seems to ignore like they're all children without any cares.....
